MGSS Familia de Mar - Open Water Academy – is an open water swimming community and academy dedicated to developing swimmers of all ages through a love for the sea, aquatic safety, and responsible training.

More than a school, we are a Sea Family: a community that grows stroke by stroke, shaping men and women of the sea with passion, discipline, and a connection to the ocean.

 

With training guided by MGSS-certified professionals and 12 years of experience at Palmilla Beach, as well as on various beaches in Baja California Sur, we support each swimmer from their first meters to major open water challenges.

 

We organize open water events such as the Baja Swim Series (in partnership with MKT), the 3 Bahias Challenge, the Palmilla Circuit, and the Palmilla Countryside Circuit, among others.
