Encourage the practice of swimming from the pool at an early age and then complement it at sea with surfing and stand up paddle (SUP) as essential disciplines for the training of men and women of the sea who value, enjoy and care for the ocean.

WHO IS ROJO "MANNY" GONZALEZ?

Manny from an early age dedicated himself to swimming professionally in Baja California Norte and California, United States. He started surfing at the age of 14, and realized that he was forever going to be trapped by the sea. Originally from Mexicali, he arrived in Los Cabos in 2003 after having surfed in various parts of the country and the world, where he began working as a surf instructor and tour guide for the following companies Baja Wild, High Tide, Cabo Outfitters.

In 2012, he started working at Vidanta Club, offering swimming lessons for children from 4 years old and up, and Adults, all levels. In 2014, Los Cabos faces one of its most difficult tests: Odile, a Category 4 hurricane that left the town devastated in a matter of hours, the pool was disabled for the rest of the season. So Manny with a group of students decided to start their Mujeres de Mar (Baja Woman) training on Palmilla beach and other beaches in the Municipality.

MGSS Men and Women of the Sea Program

Month after month the groups have grown to this day. The program is designed for you to enter at any time of the year from January to December. Every day you swim in the open sea, you exercise in contact with nature. There are months that you learn, apart from swimming, the bases to practice Surf, Stand up paddleboard, freediving, and more.

Every month we create CHALLENGES focused on the activities that take place during the month and how are the weather conditions to have the best result.

Lo que ofrece MGSS

MGSS es una escuela y club acuático en Los Cabos, especializada en natación en aguas abiertas, surf y stand up paddle board, con clases para todas las edades a partir de los 4 años. Ofrecemos clases privadas e individuales, así como grupales, adaptadas desde el nivel principiante hasta el avanzado. Nuestros entrenamientos regulares se imparten durante toda la semana, en distintas playas de Los Cabos como Palmilla, Acapulquito y Costa Azul, creando una rutina activa y segura en el mar.

Al frente está Manuel Rojo González, con más de 20 años de experiencia como instructor, certificado por la ISA Surfing (Instructor Nivel 1, próximamente Nivel 2) y coach de aguas abiertas Nivel 3 por la WOWSA. Todos nuestros instructores cuentan con formación en rescate acuático, garantizando un ambiente profesional, seguro y comprometido con el aprendizaje y el respeto por el océano.

En MGSS no solo enseñamos deportes acuáticos: formamos hombres y mujeres de mar, promoviendo una vida activa, consciente y conectada con el entorno natural.
